These terms govern your use of Infercast, an AI telemetry intelligence platform. By creating an account or sending telemetry data to our endpoints, you agree to these terms. Plain language summaries are provided for clarity but the full text governs.
Infercast collects, processes, and visualizes usage telemetry from AI coding tools. We provide dashboards, cost tracking, alerting, team management, and reporting capabilities. The service is accessed via web browser at your organization's subdomain.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. For paid plans, we will provide at least 30 days notice before removing features included in your plan.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. One person or bot may not maintain more than one free account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
Your organization's owner and administrators control access and roles within the account. Infercast supports five permission levels: Owner, Admin, Manager, Member, and Viewer. You are responsible for the actions of users you invite to your organization.
You own your data. Telemetry data you send to Infercast remains yours. We process it to provide the service and do not claim ownership of your telemetry, prompt content, or engineering metrics.
You grant us a limited license to store, process, aggregate, and display your data as necessary to operate the service. This license terminates when you delete your account.
You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to collect and send telemetry data from your developers. If your organization requires employee consent for usage monitoring, obtaining that consent is your responsibility.
Telemetry data is sent to our collection endpoint via the OpenTelemetry protocol. The following limits apply:
| Limit | Free | Team | Enterprise |
|---|---|---|---|
| Developer seats | 5 | 50 | Unlimited |
| API requests | 3,000/min | 6,000/min | Custom |
| Payload size | 512 KB | 512 KB | Custom |
| Data retention | 30 days | 365 days | Custom |
Requests exceeding rate limits receive a 429 response with a Retry-After header. We will not throttle your production AI tools — rate limits only affect telemetry reporting, not the AI tools themselves.
You agree not to:
Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.
If payment fails, we will attempt to charge your card for up to 14 days. After that, your account may be downgraded to the free plan. Your data will be retained according to the free plan's retention policy.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Infercast is a telemetry collection and visualization tool — temporary unavailability does not affect your AI coding tools, only the reporting of their usage data.
Enterprise plans include SLA agreements with specific uptime commitments and credit provisions. Contact us for details.
Infercast is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of cost calculations if AI providers change their pricing without public notice. We update our pricing engine regularly but cannot guarantee real-time accuracy for all 46+ supported models.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. Upon deletion, we will erase all your data, including telemetry stored in ClickHouse, within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical. In cases of abuse or security threats, we may act immediately.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
